About The Founder
Our founder, Ronni Clark, began working with young learners in 2001, in an ‘Autism Impaired Preschool’ program through Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Amidst her educational experience, Ronni was able to gain a deeper understanding of how ABA therapy benefits young learners with developmental disabilities and why this method successfully instills positive behavior patterns. She made the decision, right then and there that this was her true calling and after graduation, continued her work in Southern California for Applied Behavior Consultants. During her time at ABC, Ronni completed comprehensive training in ABA therapy and went forward to work with numerous reputable companies before becoming a traveling supervisor, overseeing operations in Texas, Washington and Colorado. After relocating to Colorado Springs, Ronni became an independent contractor, working with Creative Kids and Behavior and Learning Group, and connecting with other like-minded BCBAs in the greater Colorado Springs area. Ronni opened her own business, Independence ABA Therapy, LLC, in 2020, with the hopes to create a broader community of support for families in need through her thoughtfully curated ABA services.
